We're hoping this conference isn't going to be dominated by "experts," but will be a horizontally-organized gathering where everyone is encouraged to contribute, even if you've never talked about your organizing work at a conference before.

If you'd like to propose a workshop, panel, performance, or other session, please email us at mobconf2012-at-gmail.com with the details of what you have in mind as well as some information about yourself, as well as whether you have a strong need to present on a specific day. Also, we will have 50 minute and 80 minute sessions: please let us know how long you anticipate needing. Deadline for submissions is April 1st, but we encourage you to submit sooner: we'll be accepting proposals on a rolling basis.

Because we don't have unlimited space at our disposal, we encourage you to think in terms of panels and roundtables that incorporate multiple voices.

We may have limited funds available to provide travel stipends. If finances will restrict your participation in the conference let us know what your needs are and we may be able to assist you. Also, we're committed to finding all presenters a free, friendly, and comfortable space to stay here in Baltimore if they need one.
